The Philips manufactured high-field open MRI technology purchased by WVU is very popular because its movable bed positions the patient directly underneath the isocenter of the magnet. Also included is an an ambient experience function, which
allows patients to choose video and audio experiences that are projected onto the wall of the MRI room.

Landau Building Company started the project in December 2007 and completed it in only four months.  Daily operations at WVU UHA continued safe and undisturbed.

WVU University Health Associates has awarded Landau Building Company several other contracts since the successful completion of this new MRI project.
