The renovations and expansion to the Vivarium in the WVU Biomedical Research Center at the WVU Health Sciences Campus was an intensely complicated project. Antiquated mechanical systems and equipment needed to be replaced with today’s technology inside existing spaces. Many of the systems had to be custom designed and built onsite. The scope included renovations of existing corridors, offices, suites, miscellaneous laboratories and storage rooms. During construction the vivarium remained in full operation.
