Thomas A. Landau
President

Thomas A. Landau, president of Landau Building Company, began his career in 1975 as an estimator with Landau Building Company, and later as a chief estimator for Vin Construction Company in 1978. In 1986, he founded T.A. Landau Corporation where he served as president for five years.

In 1991, Mr. Landau returned to Landau Building Company as vice president. and within a year was named president of the company. His experience has encompassed all aspects of the construction business including project management, and safety and EEO director positions. He has handled project scheduling, orders and construction, purchasing subcontracts, cost and quality control, and sales and negotiated work.

Mr. Landau holds a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from Penn State University and a B.A. degree in Science from Edinboro State University. He also received his E.I.T. Certificate in 1978.

His professional memberships include the Pittsburgh Builders Exchange, the McCandless Rotary Club, Master Builders' Association of Western Pennsylvania, American Institute of Architects (AIA-Pittsburgh), Butler County AVTS Advisor, S.W. Branch YMCA, and PBE/Camp Kon-O-Kwee Sporting Clays.

Mr. Landau was awarded the 1989 ABC Project of the Year and the 1988 Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist in the "Construction/Developer" Category.
