Nestled in a beautiful wooded section of Bethel Park, the Congregation of the Holy Ghost was ripe for an expansion and renovation to its existing facility due to the need to accommodate the upcoming arrival of additional retired Catholic priests.
Landau Building Company worked with the owner to design and build the building they desired at the lowest cost possible.
Construction of the building’s expanded living space resulted in a 46,000 square foot, 20-bed addition and two common rooms, complemented by a formal garden and tranquil fish pond.
Due to the park like setting of the construction site and the desire to sustain this environment, the site was extremely tight. It was a challenge to build the deep and complex foundations necessary to support the new areas of the facility.
