WVU Hospitals
Landau Building Company is moving the existing linear accelerator and replacing with a Varian Linear Accelerator.
Landau Building Company started construction on an Urgent Care facitiy for WVUH. The anticipated completion date is for the end of May 2013. It is located in the Suncrest Towne Centre of Morgantown, WV.
The front entrance of Ruby Memorial Hospital will be relocated. Construction begins in April.
Weirton Medical Center
Landau Building Company is renovating the Cardiology Center at Weirton Medical Center. Work will encompass the Special Procedures Room and Chest Pain Center. Phase I to be completed this month.
Landau began renovations of the 7th floor rehabilitation suite and anticipates a completion in April. Work includes patient rooms and nurse stations.
Mon General Hospital
Marks-Landau Construction, a wholly owned subsidiary of Landau Building Company, is serving as the Construction Manager/ General Contractor for various projects at Mon General.
The Hybrid Operating Room, Control
Room and Equipment Room renovation to existing shelled space were recently completed. The Catheterization/Electrophysiology Laboratory was also recently completed.
Marks-Landau Construction is also constructing the Hazel Ruby McQuain Birthing Center at the same hospital. This is a 17,200 SF project and will be complete by the end of this month.
A project to upgrade HVAC systems in the West North Tower recently began.
Highmark
Marks-Landau Construction is working on an interior renovation for Highmark in Parkersburg, WV.
Tri-Rivers Surgical
Landau Building Company is doing an interior renovation for Tri-Rivers Surgical. The renovations located at Brooktree Office Park in Wexford are scheduled to be complete in April.
Duquesne University
Landau Building Company began renovations of several chemistry laboratories at Mellon Hall.
UPMC Mercy
Renovations of the stress laboratory at UPMC Mercy have been completed by Landau Building Company.
MedExpress
Landau Building Company, has completed construction of the MedExpress facilities located in Christiansburg, VA, two facilities in the town of Wilmington, DE, Newark, DE, Harrisonburg, VA, New Castle DE, Wheeling, WV, Cinnaminson, NJ, Culpeper, VA, Woodbury, NJ and a stand alone building is being constructed in Roanoke, VA. Construction of a new MedExpress facility isunderway in Willingboro, NJ .
St. Ursula Parish
Landau Building Company is building an addition and renovating portions of the existing church in Allison Park, PA. The sanctuary and basement hall renovations will be complete for Easter. The addition will be complete later this Spring.
Robert Morris University
Several renovation projects continue at Robert Morris University.
UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh
Landau Building Company has completed a stem cell lab at the new Children's Hospital.
Landau was the successful low bidder on a renovation project for the ophthalmology clinic at Children's Hospital.
WPAHS - Forbes Regional Hospital
Landau Building Company is renovating four Emergency Department Operating Rooms.
WVU Law Center
Landau Building Company as begun the additions and renovations to the WVU Law Center. The project includes renovation of existing building and addition of approximately 22,000 square feet. The renovation would be in the main building which houses staff offices and law library. The addition would provide multiuse space along with additional seminar space.

Another New Baby
Landau Building Company is pleased to announce that Brad Knapik, Project Manager at Landau, has a new baby boy. Rilee Carter Knapik was born on September 18, 2012. Brad is the proud first time father. Rilee Carter Knapik was born 9/18/12 at 3:14 pm 9 lbs 14 ounces 22 inches long. Mother and baby are happy and healthy. Dad is very happy too!

Skylar VanSoest, project manager, and his wife, Carrie, are now the proud parents of Katherine Judy VanSoest. Katherine was born on August 6, 2012 at 8:04am, 8lbs. 9 oz. 19 3/4". She will be going home to 3 other siblings. Congratulations!!

New Hire
Landau Building Company is pleased to announce that Michael Bartoldi has joined the company as a Project Engineer.
Michael is a recent graduate of Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science in Structural Design and Construction Engineering Technology with a concentration in construction management.
During college Michael interned several times with the largest commercial architectural metal wall and roofing system specialty contractor in the United States. His experience includes preparing schedules of values and project closeouts.

Landau Buidling Company kicked back on the lawn in front of the office on Friday, May 25, 2012. Those who were able to join the picnic enjoyed the time together . Fried chicken, bocce ball, beautiful weather and homemade music were the highlights of the afternoon.
