Inside Landau

On Wednesday, January 11, 2012 students from Lenape Tech toured the Richard G. Snyder YMCA Campus jobsite.  Lenape Tech is a comprehensive career and technical school in Ford City, PA.  The students which attended the tour are enrolled in the school’s CADD  (computer-aided design and drafting) and carpentry programs. The name of the new facility recognizes the many contributions of Mr. Richard Snyder.  Mr. Snyder, a local business man, is very passionate about the YMCA program and the benefits the YMCA brings to the community.

It was an ideal time for the students to observe the construction process.  The new building is now under roof and most of the walls have been constructed.  The students were able to view the initial stages of the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems being installed.
